Can anyone send out some cool tips for checking out the 4th of July fireworks and such scene?
I'm flying in on the 4th, and am sort of unabashedly excited about catching some cool sights, fireworks and or getting some cool ideas for ways to enjoy myself that evening- on somewhat of a low key level... (i.e. any cool spots to head to to see them?- any top ways to participate in the festivities in style - high or low profile style?)

Didn't know if it was like a New Year's in Times Square kinda thing out there for you NY's... this will be my first summer there- finally.....
